We engineer unusual solutions
Besides the industry sectors we’ve already listed on this site (automotive, beverage, environmental, medical and laboratory), there are many other OEM applications for our vacuum pumps and compressors. Some of these applications can be very unusual. For instance, we’ve engineered a special diaphragm vacuum pump for de-gassing the resin on a repair to a windscreen for the Chinese car industry.
It’s actually not that common for us to be surprised by a new application requirement, but it does happen. Normally, our OEMs need a variation on a theme, and it’s something our engineers have encountered before. By applying our knowledge of similar applications, we can save you a lot of time and resources – and are likely to be able to deliver your solution more effectively.
We advise on the best solution – even if it’s not ours
We don’t want to waste your time or resources, and we closely guard our excellent reputation. That’s why we’ll always be completely open and honest with you. We’d really appreciate the chance to say, “Yes, we can do it using our compressed-air or vacuum pump”, but if we think that hydraulics might be a better way to go, or a mechanical gripper might be more accurate or effective in this instance, we’ll tell you.
